WASHINGTON — The U.S. Department of Defense on Thursday released a new batch of videos that officials said depict unidentified aerial phenomena, or UAP, renewing public interest in unexplained objects observed in American airspace.

The videos, which vary in length and quality, appear to show fast-moving objects recorded under different lighting and weather conditions. Defense officials said the footage is being made public "to encourage additional analysis and improve transparency" regarding reports that remain unresolved after preliminary review.

SAN ANTONIO — In a statement released Tuesday evening, Elon Musk, the Tesla and SpaceX chief executive, asserted that the recent surge in foodborne and drug-resistant infections across the United States is unrelated to significant reductions in federal food-monitoring programs.

Musk’s comments come as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reports a record-breaking number of cases of cyclosporiasis, a persistent salmonella outbreak linked to jalapeños and eggs, and a widening spread of the drug-resistant fungus Candida auris.

"No other president could have done that," Trump said. "This is the seventh time they've surrendered unconditionally."

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Amid mounting public skepticism over escalating hostilities in the Middle East, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth told reporters Wednesday that recent military developments were unfolding according to what he described as a "divine plan" that the Department of Defense had anticipated for years.

FORT WORTH — The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) temporarily grounded all American Airlines flights Tuesday while officials examined whether a recently announced nationwide bacon recall had affected onboard catering operations.

Washington - President Donald Trump paid his respects at a closed memorial service for Sen. Mitch McConnell, according to people familiar with the event, in a somber gathering that reflected both the senator’s long public career and the guarded tone surrounding his recent health concerns. The service was not open to the public, and few details were released about the guest list or the remarks delivered inside.

New York - Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick on Tuesday suggested that the nation could address sluggish productivity and ease its long-term fiscal pressures by adding another hour to every day, an idea he said would also make everyday arithmetic simpler for most Americans.
